We also want you to gain a better understanding on what we do, how we do it and what this all means to you. So here we go with our KiMeo definition of terms or Glossary:

Geo Tagged Images:

geotagged image is an image which is associated with a geographic position by geotagging. Usually this is done by assigning at least a latitude and longitude to the image, and optionally altitude, compass bearing and other fields may also be included.

Map Citations:

A Google Map citation is actually just a mention of your business name (and optionally it's address and phone number) on another website. It is also a citations from Google Maps which are created when users save your business location to their maps.

Radius Location Pins:

Adds a radius around any or all of your locations you choose to map out around your business location.

Google Stacking:

Google Stacking is an amazing SEO tactic that allows you to build backlinks on several Google platforms.

From an SEO perspective, using Google Stacks leverages the power of the Google domain and trust in order to promote your website both from an increased rankings perspective, as well as from having additional ranking properties in the search results.

Social Signals:

Social signals are real human interaction metrics on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Some examples of social signals are: likes, dislikes, shares, votes, pins, views, etc. These signals commonly help to display  popularity and interest for a specific piece of content.

Backlinks:

A backlink is a link that gets created when one website links to another website. Backlinks are also called "inbound links" or "incoming links." Backlinks are a very important part of your SEO strategy.

There are 2 main types of links, DA (Domain Authority) and PA (Page Authority).

Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) are 3rd party metrics created and maintained by Moz which simply “predicts the websites potential in search engine rankings based on Moz’s own algorithm”. Domain Authority is the ranking of the overall domain and Page Authority is the ranking of any internal page/post etc.
